We are thrilled support Derby County Community Trust on their annual trip to Kenya by sponsoring team member Pete Collins who is taking part in the trip.
What is Rams in Kenya?
The Rams in Kenya initiative is an annual trip to schools in the slums of Nakuru, inviting Derby County fans and supporters to improve the lives of children in partner schools.
The project helps build new classrooms and facilities and increase safety measures. Volunteers also contribute with teaching, as well as being involved in physical activities with the students.
Since 2012, over 500 volunteers have supported these communities, enhancing lives and making a lasting impact, which is deeply appreciated by the communities they serve.
At the end of May, Pete safely reached his destination, and immediately immersed himself working hard on the project at hand helping improve the quality of life in the schools of Nakuru.
We are delighted to have been able to support their great work.
